Unique.

Unique.

This word, according to Roget and Webster, who are the most critical judges of us all, means distinctive, exotic, bizarre, mysterious, puzzling, unconventional, and unexpected.

When I first read her cheeky words,

I could feel her heart beating

in every distinctive keystroke

and see her blood in every exotic phrase.

Every line of her bizarre WordPress note

seemed to contain a piece of flesh,

every mysterious simile a lock of hair,

every puzzling metaphor a blister,

every unconventional analogy an ounce of sweat,

and every unexpected image a handful of tears.

I think Unique describes her style extraordinarily well, don’t you?
